Committees and Appointments

About our Committees and Appointments

Standing committees and appointees are responsible to the Governing Council and should report to it at least once a year. At the discretion of the Governing Council these annual reports may be given at the Business Meeting of the ISA and/or submitted in writing for publication.

The lengths of committee members’ terms vary among standing committees and appointments but all terms officially begin with the start of the ISA Annual Convention meeting of the first year listed and end with the closing of the ISA Governing Council meeting of the final year listed. The chair of a standing committee may not serve consecutive terms.
