We wish to thank you for the beautiful and also Brexit-tense days in Ljubljana with its engaging discussions. Michael Zürn's keynote perfectly fitted and anticipated many themes of the next day and helped to spur discussion for the rest of the week. The special panel on Brexit allowed us to start taking stock of the many problems ahead both for the UK and the EU. A special thanks to all those who helped organize that session so quickly and effectively on Friday. We hope you enjoyed the panel and the many chats and debates with a different mix of people than you would meet at the usual conferences.

The CEEISA-ISA joint conference on Politics of international relations, hosted by the Centre of International Relations (CIR) and co-organised Central and East European International Studies Association (CEEISA) and International Studies Association (ISA) took place from 23 to 25 June 2016 at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Social Sciences, Ljubljana, Slovenia. The conference brought together over 450 participants, scholars, researchers and PhD students from 52 countries from all around the world. There were 109 panels that enrolled during the three conference days and special attention was given to junior scholars by organizing several Graduate Students’ panels.
As during the conference proceedings, the results of the British referendum on withdrawal from the European Union were announced in the morning of 24 June, the Conference participants and organizers promptly responded by conducting a round table on Brexit. The report on the round table is available here.
We're delighted to be able to share a photo gallery of the conference with participants.
